Memorial Day Weekend

We kicked the Holiday weekend off by picking up my parents from the airport Friday night. They were so excited to see Lucy, as my dad had not seen her since Christmas...she has changed just a tad since then, ha! :) We had a great weekend...went to a few of our favorite eating spots, spent some time in Boulder, put the grill to good use on Memorial Day, and just enjoyed being together. Lucy LOVED all the attention :) Thank you both so much for coming to visit us and love on us. We sure love you guys!!!

More Visitors!

The day after Ted's birthday, we had three special guests come stay with us...Uncle Carleton, Aunt Brandi and Uncle Kevin! They completely spoiled Miss Lucy (and us!) We went to the mall, we went into Boulder to get Buff gear, watched and cheered on the OKC Thunder, and enjoyed Carleton and Brandi's delicious grilling/cooking skills. We love these guys so much. Thanks for coming to see us and play with Lucy. She LOVES you all!

Happy Birthday Ted!

May 16th was(is) Ted's Birthday! We had breakfast with Al and Dixie that morning before they had to head back to OKC. Here are Daddy and Lucy before Daddy had to leave for work. Here lately, Lucy likes to reach out her hand in dramatic fashion...so that's what she is doing in this picture. Oh how we love you Ted/Daddy!!! We hope you know how special you are to us, and we had so much fun celebrating you!!!

My first Mother's Day

Mother's Day has always been a special day to me, but this year it was particularly special because it was my very first Mother's Day as a mother. I've always loved and appreciated my own mama, but now that I am one, I have a whole new appreciation and even deeper love for her!! I'm also thankful for my wonderful mother-in-law who was here, along with Ted's dad, to celebrate. Al and Dixie drove up for a few days to visit us, and of course play with Lucy :) We had a great time! We went to a charming place called The Huckleberry for Mother's Day brunch. We waited over an hour, but boy was it worth it! We also celebrated Ted's birthday (which I'll blog about next!) Here are some pictures from their trip. A visit from Mimi

We were so thankful to have Mimi with us for a few days! She flew up to CO last week, and boy did we have fun!! We tried some new recipes, did a little shopping, and Mimi even planted me some flowers in my new pots...lets hope I keep them alive, ha!
