Oh dear...I've managed to get behind (again!) on blogging! With your permission, we will rewind here just a bit. And I promise to give the abridged version :)
Well, we took off for Oklahoma City from the Detroit airport the week before Christmas. Oh my, were we a sight! Lets just say we had some luggage. (okay, a LOT of luggage). Not to mention a car seat, stroller, and a 4 1/2 month old! Shout out to the Jobes for taking us to the airport and cramming us and our gear into their highlander! Lucy was an absolute champ. She did not fuss/cry one single bit. She ate/slept the entire way there. OH I so meant to have taken pictures of all this, a video perhaps?? Shoot, I'm just thankful we made it...the memories will have to just live in our minds.
Then, we spent the next couple of weeks seeing family/friends and celebrating the Holidays. Sweet Lucy had a LOT going on in her little world (she was a tad over stimulated I'd say, ha!) But we had the BEST time and were so very thankful to spend her first Christmas with our families. We ate, played with Lucy, watched bowl games, played with Lucy, shopped, played with Lucy (do you see a pattern here??) :) OH, and while were there....Lucy turned 5 months old, AND she rolled over! She is now officially a rolling machine. Which means I need to start baby proofing the condo immediately!
Here are some pictures from our trip. Thanks to all our OKC people, we LOVE YOU all so much!
