November

Wow, I can't believe November is almost over and December is 2 days away!! Sorry for my lack of blogging...I'm going to lump this month into one blog if I may :)

Well, Lucy turned 3 months old on November 3rd. She is so alert! She loves to cuddle and be held...just as long as she is looking outward and can see what's going on. She has also discovered her hands (they spend the majority of the time in her mouth!) It is so fun to watch her hold her toys, grab our fingers and reach for things. She is more and more verbal (no "words" yet that we can understand, but she seems pretty confident that she knows what she is talking about). Her smile is so sweet, and she's even started to giggle :) Lucy also attended her first UM sporting event, a UM basketball game...she did great!

Uncle Grant and Aunt Lindee came to visit us for a few days. We had SO much fun having them here...we went to the cider mill, Zingerman's Deli, and they were able to go to a Michigan hockey game and the UM vs. Nebraska football game. We love you guys and appreciate you coming to see us and love on Lucy!

And then Thanksgiving! I just love this time of year...I hope I am ALWAYS mindful and grateful of the blessings God gives me and my family EVERY day, not just around the holidays. This particular year, Ted and I are especially thankful because we have our Lucy Kate. She constantly brings perspective and just a joy that is more than we could have imagined. I am taken back by how much I love her...and how much more does God love me (and each of us!!) We were so thankful to spend the holiday with our dear friends the Hoffmans and Lamberts...thanks for always making us feel a part of your family!

Well, I took about 500 pictures this month...I promise not to post all of them. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, and I am certainly thankful for each of you!!
