Happy Halloween!

October=Grandparent month, Yay (part 2)!!

Lucy has had a very special month...both sets of grandparents were able to come up to Ann Arbor to visit. This past week, Jon & Debbie (aka Papa Jon and Bauba) were here, and oh what fun we had. We went out to eat, did some shopping at the mall, walked around downtown AA, and took a thousand pictures of Lucy :) Papa Jon and Bauba sang lots of songs to Lucy which I think was her favorite. Here are some pictures from their visit. Thank you both so much for coming to see us and love on us, especially Lucy!! We had a GREAT time!

29+1

That is my new age as of yesterday! Yes, I've entered a new decade (or as my friend Emily calls it, the "cool people club". I like that! :) Thank you to everyone for your calls, messages & cards. I am so thankful and grateful to God that He has put each of you in my life. I am blessed beyond measure. Thank your Lord for your great love & care. Thank you for my precious family and friends. Thank you for my health. Thank you for my wonderful husband and my wonderful Lucy! Hello 30, I'm excited to meet you! The Jobes treated me to a wonderful morning (complete with panera and Carol Roeda-my favorite store!) Ted and Lucy took me out to dinner and spoiled me rotten with a few b-day goodies :) Of course, I managed not to take one single picture yesterday. But it was a GREAT day, and I'll always remember turning 29+1!!

October=Grandparent month, YAY!!!

A couple of weeks ago, Ted's parents(aka Grandpa Al and Grandma Dixie)came up to visit us! We had the best time, and of course Lucy LOVED having her grandparents here to love on her, cuddle her, and spoil her...she seemed to really enjoy all of that :) We went to a cider mill and enjoyed some yummy hot cider and doughnuts. Ted and his dad went to see the Tigers play the Rangers in Detroit, while we girls went to the mall and Kohls (we're teaching Lucy how to be a good shopper!)And we watched a lot of college football...Lucy has a lot of teams to cheer for! We are so thankful you all were able to come visit. Lucy just loves you all so much (and so do we!) Here are some pictures from their visit, enjoy! :) Stay tuned...Jon and Debbie (aka Papa Jon and Bauba) will be coming to visit this week.

2 Months Old

It's hard to believe, but Lucy is already 2 months old! Last Monday, October 3rd, we took her for her 2 month appt and shots. Dr. Hammer, our pediatrician, said Lucy looks great. She now weighs ll pounds 4 ounces and is 23 inches long! (She was 6lbs 10oz 20 inches at birth). She is healthy and growing, which we are so thankful for! It's amazing what a few weeks will do in a baby's life. Lucy is developing quite the personality :) She is cooing and looking around more, she's sleeping really well at night(yay!) and her smile just melts us. It is so much fun to watch you grow... We love you Lucy!

All the way from Florida...

came Aunt Janet and Uncle Dave! We were so happy to have them come up to Ann Arbor to visit us and meet Lucy. We had the best time getting to visit with them, take them around this great college town, and dine at some of our favorite places. They were also able to get a "taste" of some tailgating (literally!) and experience a football game at The Big House. Here are some pictures from their stay. Thank you all for coming (and for loving on Lucy-us too!) We had a great time, and hope you'll come again! Love you all.
