Happy Birthday Dad!

Just wanted to wish my dad a VERY Happy Birthday today. We love you and despite the horrible ice storm Oklahoma City is currently in, we hope you enjoy your day! (This picture was actually taken over Christmas Break...but it sounds like the conditions haven't changed much). I think Oklahoma's winter has been worse than Michigan's this year!

Meet Charlie!

Friday afternoon, I went to visit my dear friend Kim. She has been married for almost a year and a half now and while we've certainly met up for lunch and coffee here and there, I had not made it over to see her new home...or meet her sweet "baby". Yes, I'm referring to Charlie, her ENORMOUS, but incredibly gentle 2 year old Great Dane. I've seen pictures of Great Danes, but I've never seen one "in person". Charlie is so well behaved and I cannot stress how sweet and calm he is. Don't you readers think the Ledbetters need a Great Dane??!! :)

R.I.P.

Don't be too alarmed by the title of this blog...some"one" didn't die but some"thing" did, and I'm afraid it's completely my fault. My dear IPOD who keeps me moving from workout to workout is no longer functioning...let's just say washing machines and electronics don't go well together :( *Note to self...always double check pockets!*

Hail to the Victors!

This afternoon, Ted and I went to Crisler Arena to watch the Michigan Wolverines take on the 15th ranked Connecticut Huskies. Thousands gathered, decked out in maize and blue to cheer on our beloved men's basketball team. They played their tails off! Connecticut was nothing but tall, tall and taller, but our boys did an outstanding job of rebounding, shooting, passing, and just playing together...oh, and we took care of the ball (Ted always tells me that's THE most important aspect-you gotta take care of the ball!!) It was exciting from beginning from to end. 68-63 was the final score...here are some pictures from the game. Great win for Michigan today...GO BLUE!!!!

Christmas/New Years Blog #2

So the first week of our "Christmas Vacation" was in OKC with my crew...the second week we spent in Palm Springs with Ted's crew. How lovely and WARM it was :) We had a great time golfing ( I rode in the cart/pulled the flag/helped look for golf balls that weren't in the fairway). The combo of mountains and desert is breathtaking! Everything is just beautiful there. We ate many delicious meals, watched some great college football Bowl Games, and perhaps our favorite part was learning a new game called BANANAGRAMS! (Thanks Grant and Lindee for introducing us to this!) Here are a few pics from the trip, ENJOY! Thanks Al and Dixie for such a wonderful trip, love you all.

Christmas/New Year Blog #1

Well, we hope this finds all of our readers well and settling into the New Year- 2010 (I've only written 2009 a few times, ha!) We've been a little out of pocket since our last blog, but hopefully these next few posts will get us back on track! Well, those of you who don't live in Oklahoma, we have to tell you we had the snow storm of the century! Christmas Eve was an absolute white out...here are some pictures to prove it! We sure had fun with the Family...we did everything from eating, playing Rock Band, eating, watching sports, oh, and did we mention we were well fed? :)(There was even a Girlfriend's Night at Ted's-yum!) Thanks everyone for a GREAT week...we love you!
