Last Thursday, Ted and I left for Orlando(we now remember what REAL humidity is)ha! The first part of our trip was spent at the World Marriot Center, where Ted attended the NACDA convention (A HUGE athletic conference!)I attended the swimming pool! :) Men and women from all different colleges across the country were there...they would go to workshops/meetings during the day, and then in the evenings, companies would have exhibits set up (everything from the people who design and sell bobble head dolls to national championship rings, score boards, you name it!) They also served a lot of free food (which was great!) Sunday, we rented a car and drove to Bradenton, FL to visit Ted's Aunt Janet and Uncle Dave...and what a wonderful time we had! We toured the Bradenton/Sarasota area on Monday (which included lunch at The Salty Dog, where we had a beer battered deep fried hotdog-no I do not want to know how many calories were in it, but it was their signature dish...we had to try it, and boy was it yummy!) Tuesday, Ted and I spent the day at the beach, and Wednedsay the guys went golfing, while the girls went to lunch and to the Theater! Aunt Janet cooked many DELICIOUS meals for us and they also treated us to a mexican restaurant, which was fabulous! Thank you all again for having us, we love you all :) Here are some pictures from our wonderful trip!
